Ecos Coloridos reinterprets the Gobi through the language of Trapos Finos, combining technical outerwear with materials collected by Yulissa Aranibar during her journeys to Peru. Bags, backpacks, textiles, decorations and small objects are transformed through upcycling, each carrying references to Peruvian culture and craftsmanship. The Gobi becomes a personal map between Peru and Paris, exploring journey, memory and the experience of carrying one’s roots across places and cultures.
Yulissa Aranibar ( @yulissa_aranibar ) is a Peruvian creative based in Paris and the founder of independent streetwear label Trapos Finos ( @trapos_finos_paris ). Born in Lima and raised in Milan, her practice brings together fashion, analogue photography and storytelling, drawing strongly on her Peruvian roots. Through upcycling and recycling, Trapos Finos transforms existing garments and materials into unique pieces, combining a contemporary urban aesthetic with references to Peruvian culture, memory and identity.
