A defining element of the Parajumpers universe, the parachute becomes the starting point for Megabottega’s installation. Designed to slow a fall and transform it into duration, it is removed from its original function and kept open by a continuous flow of air. Neither falling nor landing, it remains in constant movement without advancing, turning the idea of timelessness into a physical presence suspended between action and stillness.
Megabottega is a design studio and creative exploration lab formed by an informal collective of artists and independent professionals. Its practice moves freely across arts and crafts, bringing together different disciplines, materials and skills. Installations, sets, objects and environments become temporary devices capable of transforming space and creating new narrative possibilities. The ephemeral lies at the heart of its research: each intervention is conceived to exist for a limited time, while leaving a trace beyond its disappearance.
