Captured by Frédéric Lagrange during his travels through the Gobi Desert, the photograph conveys the vastness and powerful sense of scale of the landscape that shares its name with Parajumpers’ most iconic jacket. Endless dunes meet an immense sky, evoking remoteness, exploration and the sense of journey at the heart of the brand. The image also becomes the cover of Romain Azzaro’s limited-edition vinyl, connecting the visual and musical interpretations of the Gobi landscape.
Frédéric Lagrange ( @fredericlagrange ) is a photographer, explorer and visual storyteller whose work spans travel, lifestyle and cultural documentary photography. Over the past twenty years, he has travelled through more than 100 countries, with a particular focus on South, Southeast and Central Asia. His work captures people, cultures and remote landscapes through both colour and black-and-white photography. In 2018, he published MONGOLIA, the result of seventeen years documenting the country.
