노르웨이 군도 장기 체류자인 호주 출신의 제이슨 로버츠도 그렇게 말할 것입니다. 다큐멘터리 제작자인 그를 30여 년 전 이 얼음 해안으로 이끈 것은 그의 대담한 모험 정신이었습니다.
북극과 남극 지역의 주요 야생 동물을 대상으로 작업해온 제이슨은 이제 그의 경력에서 교육적인 측면에 열정을 쏟고 있습니다. 특히, 자연과 야생 동물, 그 보존의 역할에 대한 올바른 인식과 지식을 쌓는 것을 목표로 다양한 프로젝트 협업을 진행하고 있습니다.

BBC의 유명 보존 다큐멘터리인 Planet Earth 오프닝 시퀀스 작업을 포함하여 이 추운 북반구 생활은 제이슨에게 기억에 남을 수많은 경험과 추억을 선사했습니다. “암컷 북극곰이 처음으로 새끼 두 마리와 함께 밖으로 나왔습니다. 이후 그들은 굴에서 빠져나와 눈 내린 비탈길을 따라 내려갔습니다.” "그리고 몇 년 후 타임스퀘어 대형 스크린에서 똑같은 장면을 보고선 "아, 나 저 곰 알아요!"라고 했던 기억이 납니다."
